On the evening of 27th August 2015, we hosted an eclectic group of dignitaries, law-fraternity members and clients for an evening of “Cocktails by Candlelight” to celebrate our 125th Anniversary.
We were very honoured to share the occasion with the Honorable Mr Justice Hans-Joachim Fabricius, the Deputy Governor of the SA Reserve Bank, Mr Francois Groepe; and CEO of the Public Protector, Dr Maria du Toit.
Special guests included Mesdames Louise Wilson, Beverly Glen and Peace Petty, widows of three long serving Directors of Stegmanns Incorporated whose passion for law and uncompromising integrity garnered the respect of clients, colleagues and staff alike. Messrs Alan Wilson, Buddy Glen and Chris Petty’s collective contribution to the legal fraternity spanned over 118 years. Their legacy lives on in the current Directors of Stegmanns Incorporated, who lead the firm with the same passion for law and uncompromising integrity of their mentors.
Mesdames Colette Botha, Flora Sibanyoni and Nicole Pagel, took guests through the past, present and future of the firm, outlining where we have been, where we are, and where we plan to be. Their resolute commitment to the future of the firm is evident in the recent trademarking of both the Stegmanns name and insignia.
Stegmanns Incorporated is here to stay!
