Nicole Pagel
Managing Director

Background
Nicole obtained her BLC and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria in 1997 and 1999 respectively. She completed her articles of clerkship at Stegmanns Incorporated in 2001 and was appointed as a Director of the Firm in 2005. She was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer in 2002 and as a Notary Public in 2005. Nicole's passion and speciality lies in property law, more specifically, new developments (Residential and Commercial), ordinary and sectional title transfers and all forms of notarial work and she is currently the Conveyancer heading up the Notarial and Transfers Department at Stegmanns Incorporated.

Nicole is the Chairperson of Stegmanns Inc. and she also serves on the Pretoria Attorney's Associations' Property law Committee.
Colette Botha
Financial Director

Background
Colette Botha obtained her LLB Degree (Cum Laude) from the University of Pretoria in 2000. She completed her articles of clerkship at Stegmanns Incorporated in 2002 and was also admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer in 2002. Colette was then appointed as a Director of the firm in 2005. She currently heads up the Home Loan Registration and Cancellations Department and specialises in Commercial Property Finance.
Flora Sibanyoni
Director

Background
Flora Sibanyoni graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with an LLB degree in 2003. She joined Stegmanns Incorporated as a candidate attorney in 2004. She was admitted as an attorney in 2005 and as a Conveyancer in 2008. Flora was appointed as a Director of Stegmanns Incorporated in 2008. In 2012, she obtained a certificate in Sectional Title Management from the University of Cape Town and she is currently the Conveyancer heading up both the Bank Litigation Department and Estates Department at Stegmanns Incorporated.
Tracy-Erin Duggan
Director

Background
Tracy-Erin Duggan graduated from the University of South Africa with an LLB degree in 2008. She joined Stegmanns Incorporated as a candidate attorney in 2008 and was admitted as an Attorney and as a Notary Public in 2009. Tracy-Erin Duggan was appointed as a director of Stegmanns in 2015. She currently heads up the firm’s Legal Recoveries Department and as of January 2019, manages the Nelspruit Branch Office.
Isa Vorster
Director

Background
Isa Vorster heads up the Civil Litigation department, specialising in Labour Law and Family Law and is assisted by Jacqueline Retief (Associate) and Stella Zondi (Professional Assistant).

Isa started her career in the corporate environment and, spanning a period of 17 years, got promoted to senior management level (Human Resources) whilst obtaining the following qualifications:
BA degree from Unisa
Diploma in Labour Law from the Graduate Institute of Management and Technology
A Management Development qualification from the Manchester Business School

Isa was admitted as an Attorney in 2009 and has been with Stegmanns Incorporated since 2011.
Jana Doussy
Head of Intellectual Property

Background
Jana is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and has 7 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a certificate in Corporate Law. She is an Associate of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL). Her expertise include Trade Mark Prosecution and Litigation, Designs, Copyright, Domain Disputes, Cyber Law and IT Law in particular relating to Software and Internet Agreements, Intellectual Property Law, Intellectual Property Litigation, Company Law and Commercial Law.

She also has experience in the practice and procedure of the High Court and Magistrate Court. She is currently Head of Department in the Intellectual Property Law Department.
Jacqueline Retief
Associate

Background
Jacqueline is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She has practiced at Stegmanns Incorporated for over 6 years and is currently an Associate in the General and Civil Litigation Department. Jacqueline has over 5 years’ experience in General and Civil Litigation and has, over the years, gained extensive experience in various legal forums including, but not limited to, the High Court, Magistrates’ Court, Family Court and the CCMA and is now the Head of the Correspondent Litigation Department. She is assisted by a Senior Litigation Secretary and a Candidate Attorney.
Robyn de Veer
Professional Assistant

Background
Robyn de Veer (previously Haupt) obtained her LLB Degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2011 where after she attended Law School at the University of Cape Town in 2012. Robyn completed her articles at Stegmanns Incorporated and was duly admitted as a practising Attorney in August 2014, Conveyancer in September 2015 and Notary Public in May 2016. Robyn is currently a Professional Assistant in the Notarial and Transfers Department.
Zainab Baba
Professional Assistant

Background
Zainab Baba obtained her LLB degree from the University of Johannesburg in 2010. She completed her articles of clerkship in 2012 and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in March 2012. Zainab obtained her right of appearance in the High Court, which was obtained in November 2013. She has over 5 (five) years’ experience in litigation and collection. She was admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary Public on the 16th of February 2017 and is currently a Professional Assistant in the Conveyancing Department in Nelspruit.
Stella Zondi
Professional Assistant

Background
Stella obtained an LLB at the University of the Western Cape and thereafter lectured 1st year Law Student at the same University. She was then awarded a scholarship to study towards her Master’s Degree in the United States. She completed her LLM in 2012 and thereafter commenced with her articles at Mothle Jooma Sabdia Inc in 2013. She was then admitted as attorney in 2015 and is currently working as Professional Assistant in the Legal Recoveries and General Litigation, Labour and Family Law Departments.
Thilivhali Netshiongolwe
Professional Assistant

Background
Thilivhali obtained an LLB degree from the University of South (UNISA) and a Human Resource Management Diploma coupled with 7 years working experience in Human Resources as well as Labour Relations (Law), having worked as an HR Generalist and Labour Relations Officer for different private companies. He also worked as a Judge’s Secretary for 8 months at the North Gauteng High Court, Pretoria before joining Stegmanns Inc in March 2017.
Jesujoba Ilesanmi
Candidate Attorney

Background
Jesujoba obtained his BA (Law) and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria in 2016 and 2018, respectively. He served on the Student Disciplinary Advisory Panel at the University of Pretoria.

In 2018 he was inducted into the Golden Key International Honours Society for being in the top 15% in the LLB program. He aims to obtain an LLM in Securities Law.
Karabo Teffo
Candidate Attorney

Background
Karabo obtained her BA (Wits) in 2016 and her LLB (Wits) 2018. During her time at the University of the Witwatersrand, she:-
- served as SRC Treasurer,
- was a member of the University’s Financial Committed of Council,
- was a member of the National Student Financial Scheme Appeals Committee,
- was a member of University’s Workers Insourcing Task Team,
- volunteered at the University’s Citizenship and Community Outreach,
- participated in various leadership development programs including the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation Robben Island and the Higher Education Funding Discussion Panel in Ryerson University-Toronto, Canada.

She believes that knowledge becomes education when it is used to benefit society.
Limpho Motlatsi
Candidate Attorney

Background
Limpho completed her LLB degree at the University of the Free State in December 2018. She was placed on the Dean Merit List for four consecutive years during her studies and was awarded the Best Performing Student in her First, Second and Third Year.

Limpho volunteered at the University’s Law Clinic and was a member of the SRC EC for Student Development and Environmental Affairs in 2017 and 2018. She served on the Values and Strategies Committee for the Conlaures Residence and is a member of the Golden Key International Honorary Society for top 15% in the University’s Faculty of Law.
Isaura Spa Cardoso
Candidate Attorney

Background
Isaura obtained her LLB degree from the University of South Africa in 2018, where after she enrolled in the LEAD-UNISA Distance School for Legal Practice programme. Isaura recently joined our Nelspruit branch to commence with her articles of clerkship and to gain valuable experience in the fields of Litigation and Property Law.
Guy Dey
Forensic Investigations Consultant

Background
Guy Dey obtained his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the (UNP) University of Natal, a Diploma in Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation from RAU, and a Diploma in Business Computing from Damelin. He is internationally qualified as a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner). Guy is a specialist in the fields of Forensic Investigation, Forensic Auditing, Fraud Investigation and Prevention, Compliance, Security and Enterprise Risk Management. Over the past 15 years, Guy has gained extensive experience in Forensic Investigation, Forensic Auditing, Fraud Investigation and Prevention, Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Governance across many industries including the Financial, Banking, Legal, Insurance, Auditing, Motor, Cellular, and Mining industries. Guy recently joined Stegmanns Incorporated as Head of Forensics, to provide Forensic Investigation and Fraud Risk Management solutions to clients and build and grow a strong forensic service offering.
Annatjie Badenhorst
Estates Administrator

Background
Annatjie started her career as a Junior Examiner at the Master of the High Court in Pretoria in February 1981. She was fortunate enough to have worked with and be trained by seniors who have a passion for their work and a desire to serve people. She admitted that their passion was contagious. Working at the Master’s Office, Annatjie gained a wealth of experience in all kind of estates such as Deceased Estates, Curatorships and Insolvencies.

She then spent 16 years in the Insolvency Practitioners’ world after which she joined a Law Firm in 2004 where she gained invaluable experience in administering estates and drafting Wills.

Annatjie completed a course in the Administration of Deceased Estates in 2008 at UNISA and was appointment as a Commissioner of Oaths in her capacity as Deceased Estates Administrator in 2013.

Annatjie joined Stegmanns Incorporated in March 2008 and is the Deceased Estates Administrator.
Charmaine Higgins
Office Manager

Background
Charmaine Higgins is the Office Manager and is responsible the logistical management of the practice. She joined the Stegmanns’ team in March 2014 after many years in the fields of logistics, marketing and business management.
Michelle van Dyk
Client Relations & Marketing Manager

Background
As a highly self-motivated individual, Michelle is driven to achieve results. She is passionate, well organised and enjoys being a team player. She has a background in Marketing & Sales and is busy completing her studies in Marketing Management. Michelle joined the Stegmanns’ family in July 2016 and is responsible for all Marketing related matters
